New Order -Fine Time

Just a brief post on this one, but having spent a lot of time trying to get my head around the finer points of editing on the USB turntable programme, I present for your pleasure two great mixes of New Order's 'Fine Time', from their masterpiece album, 1989's Technique, which the Vinyl Villain posted on a couple of months ago. Oh, and just in case you haven't heard it-and shame on you! the original. Acid House? House? Indie dance??

New Order-'Fine Time.' mp3

New Order-'Fine Time (Silk Mix).' mp3

New Order-'Fine Time (Messed Around Mix).' mp3

As always...if you like what you hear, GO AND BUY IT! Links up for one week.

Erm, this was early to midway through the beginning of the end for the NO.

That's in my opinion, of course.

(flames! attack! now! hang him!)

Ok, so I'll grant you the remixes aren't totally Kermit.

(sorry, I'm just a JD purist type, ignore me... stone me...)

colin- fair enough, I love JOy Division too, but Technique was the first NO album I bought, so it's kinda special for me.

And anonymous, thanks for the tip about Richard Hawley (and indeed for directing us towards those songs!)
