I agree with most of your accessment of the album. "What Are You Going To Do With Your Life?" has a timeless feel to it. It's the sort of album a band makes if they've grown gracefully, which the Bunnymen have. If you haven't seen them live you should. When the Bunnymen are on their live show is mind blowing.James Marshall Richardsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12941480102887488112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31163503.post-33394988489440777882007-06-16T10:06:00.000+01:002007-06-16T10:06:00.000+01:00Mike - you are right, the brevity os the key. all ...Mike - you are right, the brevity os the key. all the more impressive for a record released in the CD age.

Cronhauer-Hope you like it. But I will have to go check it out now on your recommendation.Jonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02459613450968290553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31163503.post-91030942832847204812007-06-15T23:50:00.000+01:002007-06-15T23:50:00.000+01:00This was an album I wouldn't say I wanted to disli...This was an album I wouldn't say I wanted to dislike but I was certainly ready to dislike. Supposedly mature, restraiend, it didn't sound like my sort of Bunnymen record. Yet it works way way better than I expected. I think the brevity is the key - no song outstays its welcome and there are good songs. Still think though that the best song on it is the one with Les!

Mike
http://manicpopthrills.wordpress.netAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31163503.post-35509699676722590102007-06-13T13:39:00.000+01:002007-06-13T13:39:00.000+01:00At work at the moment, but will check the links wh...At work at the moment, but will check the links when I get home.

EdEdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14243538543550888272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31163503.post-40597410802337384462007-06-13T05:58:00.000+01:002007-06-13T05:58:00.000+01:00very nice biographical description, but I can not ...very nice biographical description, but I can not listen to the music somehow...
however, I am going to my garage to listen to my old echo LPs!

thanksAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31163503.post-5981127072898205442007-06-12T22:59:00.000+01:002007-06-12T22:59:00.000+01:00links not working?links not working?Brent McD.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13110938995784133172noreply@blogger.com
